Serving as a Special Adviser to the Mencap Blue Sky Appeal, Professor SMA Babar provided vital medical expertise. This landmark 1997 initiative established a nationwide Family Adviser Service, offering critical support and advocacy to families and carers of individuals with learning disabilities across the United Kingdom.
